Dr. Rad is a general dentist with a focus on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He treats his patients the way he would like to be treated.
He earned his dental degree in 2001 and completed a 3 year cosmetic and restorative dentistry residency at Tehran Dental School. He graduated from the USC dental school in 2020 with honors, on the dean's list, and is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

What is a dental implant?
A small titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth, topped with an abutment and a custom crown that looks and works like a natural tooth.
Can my tooth be saved instead?
Sometimes. If your tooth can be saved with a filling, crown, or root canal, Dr. Rad will tell you. If not, he will explain why and what replacing it looks like.
Is an implant better than a bridge?
A bridge relies on shaving down the healthy teeth on either side. An implant stands on its own and leaves those teeth alone. Dr. Rad will go over which makes sense for you.
How long does the process take?
The post is placed in one visit, then the bone heals around it for a few months before the custom crown goes on. You will get a timeline made for you at your consultation.
